“If you counted me out, then you miscounted.” ~Dray Orion
Some people saw where I started and thought they knew where I’d end up.
They looked at my past, tallied up my limits, and decided I didn’t have it in me.
They’ve always been quick to count me out—because they saw where I came from and figured I wasn’t good enough.
Plot twist—
you miscounted.
You didn’t count the nights I stayed up when everyone else quit.
You didn’t count the bruises I wore like armor.
You didn’t count the stubbornness that kept me standing when the smart move was to stay down.
You didn’t count the kid who came from nothing—
the one you wrote off before he even had a chance.
You didn’t count the grit it takes to keep moving when the road is stacked against you.
You didn’t count the fact that I don’t scare easy,
and I sure as hell don’t quit.
Being underestimated has been the background music of my life.
And every single time, I’ve let it play—
because it’s the perfect soundtrack for proving people wrong.
So thank you for the doubt.
Thank you for the sideways glances.
Thank you for the low expectations.
They didn’t break me—they built me.
They taught me patience when the win took longer than it should have.
They sharpened my focus when the noise got loud.
They gave me every reason to stop—
and in doing so, gave me every reason to keep going.
I’m not here just to show up.
I’m here to take the damn game over.
I’m here to set the bar higher, then jump it.
And when you see me ahead of you, remember—
you miscounted.
So count again.
And this time, write me in ink—because I’m not just in the story…
I’m the one who changes the ending.
And that’s the part you miscounted.
Until next time,
Stay safe. Make good choices. And as always, stay kinky My friends.
